Condition

This is a group of 9 unlined canvases, with the tenth (the man with feather pen and inkwell) lined. Overal, the colors are clean and bright and read very well. In some, the canvas has slackened and there is faint craquellure and alligatoring in some spots where the paint is heavily applied, and mostly concentrated in the dark pigments. There are several small patches on the reverse, the largest being 3 x 3". Under UV, small areas of inpainting fluoresce mostly corresponds to patches on reverse.
