Condition

The following condition report was kindly provided by Simon Parkes Art Conservation, Inc.: This work is in lovely condition. The canvas is unlined and the paint layer is cleaned and varnished. There are two spots of varnish in the upper left that can easily be corrected. Under ultraviolet light, a sprinkling of tiny dots of retouching is visible. None of the retouches attend to any issue of note, except for a small loss in the upper right and a scratch that extends to the upper left edge. The painting should be hung as is.
