  • 48.9 cm
surmounted by fleur-de-lys finials, with serpentine handles, each with two central cartouches containing a fleur-de-lis on one side and a portrait of King Louis XVI and Marie Antoinette respectively on the other.

Condition

Overall in very good condition. The gilt bronze mounts with scattered nicks, scratches and oxidation points consistent with age and use. The marble is in excellent condition, with very minor wear to some of the edges. The components of the vase with the portrait of Marie Antoinette are slightly loose and need to be tightened.
