the arched top surmounted by an archangel above a roundel with a mask of Jesus Christ, the slanted lectern opening to a rosewood-lined compartment above an hinged fall-front knee rest fitted with a blue cushion.

Condition

Overall in good condition, with the usual minor nicks, dents, chips and wear to veneers and carcass. As visible in the catalogue illustration, there is wear along the molded ebonized foot, now showing bare wood.
