with classically derived imagery, the handled tazza depicts Virgil's Menalcas Mopsus and the other a procession of classical figures, both engraved F. BARBEDIENNE, the two-handled tazza titled MENALCAS MOPSUS and signed F. LEVILLAIN.
Condition
Overall in excellent condition. Very light rubbing to areas of high relief. Scattered minor scratches and nicks consistent with age and use.
