Condition
Overall in good condition. The gilt bronze mounts with scratches and nicks consistent with age. The mounts to the proper left rear and proper right front feet need to be re-attached. The interior border on the headboard is slightly detached. Several areas of beading with lifting, with one section approximately 6 inches long that appears to be a replacement. The flame-figure mahogany surfaces are in good condition, with scratches, abrasions and nicks consistent with age and use. The lower portion with more visible wear. The gilt bronze border banding lacking on the two long sides of the bed frame. The back lower corners of the headboard above the feet with losses around the area where the stretchers connect. Some rubbing to the varnish on the front face of the headboard.
