Catalogue Note

Jacques Boero was born in Genoa, Italy and began his apprenticeship in his native country.  Although Benezit lists him as a member of the Italian School, he is also recorded as a student of the French sculptor Denis Puech and an exhibitor at the Salons des Artistes Français 1912 and 1914.
