the sculpture of the 'enfant guerrier' engraved Bouchardon 1731, the black and white enamelled dial signed HENRY DASSON/À PARIS, the twin train movement impressed with the Marti pastille and numbered 5433, the base engraved henry Dasson, 1879.

Condition

Overall in good condition. The carved white Carrara marble with several areas of repair. This genuine Henry Dasson clock has a gilt bronze and red marble base of very good quality, conforming with Dasson's standards of manufacture. The seated enfant guerrier shows repair to his left foot and sword. The lion pelt wrapping the clock case shows a slight repair to the tail to the proper right side of clock base. Minute chips and enamel above number 60 and minute chip to keyhole.
