Condition

Overall in good condition. With vertical hairline cracks consistent with age. The banjo-player with an early repair to a crack in his right arm. A section of his belt has detached and been retained; it can be repaired by a professional conservator. Surface dirt in crevices. The ebonized wood bases showing wear, occasional nicks and scratches. The musical instruments each lacking frets.
