the top with a fine floral marquetry on a quarter-veneer satiné ground within kingwood banding, with boxwood and ebony stringing, the front with a long frieze drawer and the back similarly decorated, the sides with Bacchic masks, the two scolled key eschutcheons have been removed to reveal the faint FL mark.

Condition
Overall in good condition. The veneered surfaces with a few minor scratches and nicks to legs, consistent with age. The gilt bronze mounts with minor scratches, nicks and oxidation points. The Bacchic masks are of a darker gilt bronze finish than the other mounts. With a fitted glass top.
