the fall front opening to a shelf and two small drawers, the frieze on the stand centered by a bronze roundel of a vestal virgin beside an athénienne and flanked by two small drawers, the side panels each stamped BÉFORT JEUNE.

Condition

Overall in good condition and presentation. With the usual tarnishing and dirt to gilt bronze and minor nicks, scratches and dents to the veneered carcass. The vernis Martin panels are in good condition. A gilt bronze corner mount is lacking to the upper proper right side of cabinet.
