the black and white enameled dial with Roman and Arabic numerals interspaced by fleur de lys in raised gilt, signed A. Beurdeley/A Paris, stamped BY in cursive letters to the interior of the clock case, the twin train movement impressed BD and numbered 261.

Condition

Overall in good condition, with the usual tarnishing to gilt bronze. Previous cracquelure to enamel dial above #11 and 12, now with visible restoration. The glazed circular lid of the dial does not stay fully closed; it will need to be readjusted. The hinged door of the movement has been badly resoldered and some screws to the back plates of the Ionic formed lower parts are lacking.
