in a gilt molded frame.
Condition
The micromosaic is very finely acheived. The tone of the tessarae has been cleverly chosen in brown and green. This is an impressive rendition of the Roman forum. The later frame with extensive repair and losses to gilding, and gold overpaint restoration.
