Condition

Overall in fair condition. Please note that there is no gold left to the bronze mounts. The pietra dura panel with the usual scratches to surface and dirt, but the panels are in good condition and are not broken. Some lifting of brass inlay, mostly to the side of the cabinet. The carcass and ebony veneer are in rather poor condition, with visible hairline cracks, extensive wear. The side with cracks from carcass movement, now showing through ebony veneers. To the concave banding framing the upper edge of the rectangular base, one can notice a 2" long replacement of bronze molding to the front center.
