  • height 13 1/2 in.
  • 34.5 cm
comprising a clock and a pair of two-light candelabras, each gilt bronze base impressed FRANCE to the underside, the enamel clock dial signed T'esteau/Paris, the twin-train movement impressed PAINTRE/JEWELS 6/1987/ADJUSTMENTS and MADE IN FRANCE.  The candelabras fitted for electricity.

Condition

Overall in good condition. The turquoise-plazed porcelain is in very good condition with a few light scratches and surface dirt throughout, particularly to crevices of flowers. The flowers with approximately 4-5 minute losses to tips of petals. The bronze with a few surface scratches, light rubbing, areas of discoloration and surface dirt to crevices, all consistent with age. The Fu dogs flanking the clock with visible glue where their feet attach to bronze base. As stated in the cataloguing, the candelabras have been fitted for electricitiy. However, both will likely require re-wiring and new sockets in order to function properly.
