Condition
Overall very good original condition. The metal frame with some oxidation and surface dirt. The laminate panels with very minute scratches. The wooden drawers with surface dirt to the interior. Each moves with ease. The dimpled doors with some minor edge chips losses and lifting to the laminated caused by sliding the panels. Each of the corners with patches varying from two inches to less a ΒΌ inch. These have been executed sensitively and are each visible in the catalogue illustration. One of the larger dimpled doors is slightly lighter in color than the other three. The rest of the front surface of the doors are in very good condition with a beautiful patination. An excellent example of the first edition of this iconic form. Please note, this piece is being sold with a rare copy of "Photographs of a Splint, Furniture and a House of Cards" published in 1987 showing the Eames collection of Fifty/50 Gallery.
