Condition

Overall excellent condition. It appears that the standard is possibly repainted. The shade with what appears to be original paint with some faint discoloration and with a few edge nicks and scratches. The brass elements that contain the lighting elements, with nicks and oxidation consistent with age and are barely visible of the shade is in place. The top of the standard is designed similarly to a ball joint, so that the shade has significant articulation as the counterweight ball is adjusted. With original foot switch, not shown in the catalogue illustration. Electrically stable. A superb and extremely rare design.
