294 leaves, 143mm. by 103mm., perhaps wanting a single leaf after fol.11, else complete, collation: i8, ii3 (ii blank and cancelled), iii7 (i wanting), iv-xiii8, xiv2, xv-xxi8, xxii10, xxiii-xxxv8, xxxvi6, xxxviii8, xxxix10 (last leaf reattached to volume), single column, 24 lines of black and brown ink in a legible textualis hand, rubrics in red, paragraph marks in red or blue, one- and 2-line initials in same, six 4- or 5-line initials in variegated blue or red with penwork to contrast, one large initial 'T' (8-line) on fol.11r in blue heightened with silver scroll-work (now oxidised) with ornamental penwork in green, brown and red, infill touched in silver, floral extensions into two margins, ink flaking from a few leaves, large smudge to fol.119r, else good and presentable condition, nineteenth-century half-calf over marbled pasteboards (now weak along spine)

1. Written and decorated for use in the diocese of Liège: the Calendar includes St. Servatus, the first bishop of the town (13 May), as well as four of his successors from the mid-seventh century to the early eighth: SS. Remaculus (3 September), Theodard (10 September), Lambert (17 September) and Hubert (3 November).
