44 leaves, 210mm. by 148mm., complete, collation: i-iv10, v4, single column, up to 48 lines in brown ink in a rounded gothic script, one 2-line red initial on fol.3r, one large initial 'P' (50mm. high), with red penwork tracery infill and extensions into margin on fol.1r, many small holes in first four leaves (now restored with modern paper), purple spotting throughout, edges a little bumped and frayed, slightly trimmed with losses to marginalia, nineteenth-century marbled pasteboards, vellum spine
