211 leaves, 270mm. by 215mm., wanting a leaf from nineteenth quire, two or three leaves between the eleventh and twelfth quires (perhaps cancelled blanks) and a few from end, else complete, collation (from right to left following text): i-x10, xi8, xii-xviii12, xix11 (last a singleton), xx8, single column, 16 lines in black ink touched in red in Karshuni script, rubrics in red, 7 lines of text in smaller script within red box on fol.188v, seal impression of a Lebanese-Syrian monk named Chamoun probably dated 1892 on fol.1v, late nineteenth- or early twentieth-century ex libris of "M[onsieur] Patriarca Viro" on outer edge of many leaves and twentieth-century sale ticket pasted inside frontboard, undated twentieth-century British Museum letter enclosed, small spots and stains, some bumps to edges of some leaves, else good condition, contemporary red leather over pasteboards stamped with clusters of small stars, somewhat battered and detaching on one side from spine
