Condition

STRUCTURE Original canvas. The surface is dirty with specks of staining upper left and bloom to the woman, chair and foreground lower right and may benefit from a light clean. Otherwise the work is in apparently good original condition. ULTRAVIOLET LIGHT UV reveals areas of fluorescence most of which appears to correspond with the artist's pigments or the aforementioned specks of staining. There may be a few flecks of retocuhing to the woman's face and to the trees. FRAME Held under glass in a gilt plaster frame; unexamined out of frame.
