Condition
STRUCTURE
The board is sound with one or two minor nicks to the corners and edges. There are two faint diagonal surface abrasions along the lower right edge, in line with the boys left hand, otherwise the work appears in good overall condition with some strong areas of impasto.
ULTRAVIOLET LIGHT
Ultraviolet light reveals an uneven varnish and there appear to be a few flecked retouchings to the above mentioned surface abrasions.

Held in a simple wooden box frame.
