Condition

STRUCTURE Original canvas. There is a faint craquelure pattern across the surface, visible mainly in the sky upper right. There is some minor frame abrasion and frame paint transfer about the edges. The surface is slighlty dirty and may benefit from a light clean but is in otherwise good overall condition. ULTRAVIOLET LIGHT UV reveals a few minor flecked retouchings to the pathway and trees. There may be one or two flecked retouchings to the garments of the children. FRAME Held in ornate gilt plaster frame.
