Condition

STRUCTURE The panel is sound. The surface is dirty with specks of staining and the varnish has discoloured; the work may benefit from a light clean. There are small areas of craquelure in the sky. ULTRAVIOLET LIGHT UV reveals an area of retouching in the sky upper right. FRAME Held in a gilt plaster frame.
