STRUCTURE
The canvasboard is sound. The surface is slightly dirty, visible to the beach and sky on the left. Generally the work is in excellent original condtion.
ULTRAVIOLET LIGHT
UV reveals pigments which fluoresce that are apparently the hand of the artist, but no apparent signs of retouching.
FRAME
Held under glass in a painted plaster frame with a canvas inset; unexamined out of frame.
