STRUCTURE
Original canvas.
The work is in generally good overall condition. There is some minor paint separation to the lambs face lower right, and there are one or two tiny minor lines of craquelure to the surface. The varnish has apparently discoloured very slightly, mainly in the sky.
ULTRAVIOLET LIGHT
UV reveals spots of fluorescence, including to the sky and the smaller child's coat, but this appears to be the hand of the artist.
FRAME
Held in a painted wood frame.
