Condition

STRUCTURE The canvas has been relined. There are a few areas of craquelure, including to the girl's face, hands, and one or two areas on her skirt. There is a diagonal surface abrasion near the upper half of the left edge, measuring 3cm, and some minor frame abrasion along the top edge. There are a few small discoloured retouchings above the girls head. The surface is slightly dirty with a few tiny specks of staining and the varnish has discoloured. Otherwise the work is in stable condition. ULTARVIOLET LIGHT UV reveals a few small areas of retouching to the upper background, a few areas of retouching to the figure's skirt, and a few small spots to her hands.
