An important wall-map of the Crimea, published at the onset of the Crimean War, and re-issued the next year, with the terminal date in the dedication now 1855, and Jervis now described as Lieutenant-Colonel. The dedication is overprinted with a Russian translation; with two paste-on geological cross-sections, the upper showing "Simferopol"; the lower names the Alma River, Inkerman and Balaklava, sites of three of the Crimean War battles fought by the British Army.
