Oblong folio (244 x 310mm.), title printed in gold, 48 albumen prints by the Bonfils family (225 x 280mm.; or the reverse), mounted on card, recto and verso, nearly all numbered, signed and captioned in the negative, contemporary red calf-backed decorated and carved wooden boards with the cross of Jerusalem, a little light spotting, some fading and dust-soiling, especially at end of album, slight wear to edges of mounts, spine slightly worn
