Blackmer 1585; Abbey, Travel 381 (both first editions)], lacking list of plates at end, some slight spotting and occasional soiling

Spilsbury was the surgeon on board H.M.S. Tigre, which took part in the English campaigns against the French in Egypt and Syria. The plates include views of Acre, Sidon, Beirut, Mount Tabor and Tripoli.
