Contemporary (possibly original) tan crushed morocco, elaborate bouquet on upper cover made of inlaid red niger, blue, dark green, and dark brown morocco outlined in gilt with a gilt butterfly stamped in upper right corner (repeated on lower cover), gilt-stamped turn-ins, silk multicolor brocade doublures and endleaves, edges gilt, by Marius Michel, in a quarter-morocco slipcase; light rubbing on upper cover.
