Original gilt-ruled vellum with author and title gilt-stamped on black morocco label on upper cover, and on the lower "Einziges Velinexemplar Privatdruck Berlin 1922;" some soiling and a few minor stains. (With:) Willy Heimann, autograph letter signed, Munich, 4 April 1932, on his letterhead "Das Buch des Bibliophilen."

Unique copy. Corinth published a suite of lithographs illustrating Goethe's Das Leben des Götz von Berlichingen in 1920. Here he is trying the subject as etchings, and the letter by the bookseller Willy Heimann laid in, remarks "... dieses einzige Exemplar ..."
