Printed on green, blue, pink, and yellow paper, additional engraved title, engraved title, 11 full-page plates mounted on colored paper, 2 half-page vignettes, and a headpiece (hand-colored) lithographed by Godefroy Englemann after Périé, Villeneuve, Fragonard, Dupre and Desmadryl and lightly hand-colored with wash; very light marginal soiling, violet paper mount faded in spots. Contemporary red quarter straight-grain morocco and marbled boards, original brown wrappers bound in; edges rubbed.
