Catalogue Note
First edition. A splendid copy with the plates in colored and uncolored states. The plates are reduced versions of those found in Dalvimart, The Costume of Turkey (1802), and depict costumes, ceremonies, and musical instruments. The title page and the plate list mention 72 plates but this copy has 75 (two more in volume 3 and one more in volume 4).
