Forty-two vertical oban woodblock prints (each about 14 1/4 x 10 in.; 362 x 254 mm), the first eight signed Gototei Kunisada, of Kabuki actors' portraits including Ichikawa Kyuzo, Nakamura Shikan, Ichikawa Danjuro, Ichikawa Ebizo, Sawamura Totsugen, publishers Yamamotoya and Yamaguchiya, the rest signed Toyokuni (III), the Kabuki actors' portraits including Sanshichiro Yoshiie, Keisei Tanzen ba, Katsuma Genzaebe, Iwanaga Saemon, Hansawa Kuro, Kasugaya Tokijiro, diptych of actors, including Kmyotori kiotoko soroi, Minamoto Yorinobu and Taira taro Ryomon, Geisha Ohana and Katanaya Hanhichi, Shichinosuke and Sakaya Yoshiso, Ohoshi Yuranosuke, Miura Hyoe no suke, Izutsu Kumenosuke, Ushiwa no Denji, Ume o maru and a single print by Kuniyoshi of Keidai ama Marino Yashiro inculding four dyptich sets, publishers include Ezakiya, Yamaguchiya, Senichi, Isekin, Kagaya and Tsujiyasu; good impressions and color, some with slight soiling and wear to the edges, a very few with short worm trails, the first 8 tipped to mounting sheets. Housed in mylar sleeves in a large clasp-binder.
