Half green morocco, green cloth boards, upper cover lettered gilt, morocco lettering piece on spine, plain endpapers; extremities worn, some loss to foot of spine.

Catalogue Note

First edition, rarely found with handcoloring. A London-based painter of architecture and interiors, Swarbreck executed these sketches of Scottish  landscapes, buildings and antiquities during a tour of that country in 1837.
