Full aubergine calf by N. Ralli, elaborately inlaid front and lower covers depicting a nude male and female diving toward the ocean floor strewn with coral, kelp, sting rays, jellyfish, starfish, and sea anemones within a gilt sea punched with small circular and star-shaped tools, the spine lettered gilt and inlaid with a sailboat on a gilt background, purple silk moiré doublures, gilt cornerpieces, top edge gilt. Calf tipped marbled chemise and slipcase.
