A good group of 27 images of local costume, as follows:



1. 17 hand-colored engravings from Joseph Skinner, The Present State of Peru (London: Phillips, 1805), folio (14 5/8 x 10 3/4 in.; 372 x 274 mm) with engraved captions in English, all on guards, bound into early 19th-century maroon straight-grain half morocco and marbled boards; scuffed and worn.



2. 9 fine watercolor drawings of local costume, 4to (9 3/4 x 7 1/2 in.; 248 x 190 mm), in a modern red leatherette album.



3. "Femme de Lima," a color lithograph by Victor Dollet after P. Blanchard, from the series Galerie Royale de Costumes (Paris: Aubert, 1842-1848).
