12mo (6 x 4 1/2 in.; 152 x 115 mm). Hand-illuminated half-title "Livre d'Heures" [sic], printed half-title and title in red and black, every page with a different printed pictorial half border in brown and black, chapter headings printed in red. Elaborate red morocco fanfare binding, double-fillet borders enclosing a dense field of dotted and stamped leafy stamps and stars, edges gilt, gilt-tooled turn-ins, cream watered-silk doublures and endleaves, by Gruel, in a gray cloth slipcase; tiny signs of wear at extremities.
