8vo (9 3/8 x 6 in.; 238 x 152 mm, uncut). 4 engraved plates by Eric Gill. Contemporary green morocco blind-ruled border with berry clusters at the four corners and a large blind-stamped "J" on upper cover, publisher's printed dust wrapper; the wrapper soiled with tears at spine and edges.



With: a set of three alternative designs and a fourth never used for the plates, signed with initials by the artist, laid in.
