Catalogue Note

The fine Skiff-Doheny copy of the author's first book, with a typed letter signed by Harris to Frederick Skiff tipped in ("You are one of the very few persons who have written to me, who seem to be enlightened by the real spirit of the book collector"). The blue binding is a rare variant.
