Kemble, photogravure plate of a portrait bust by Karl Gerhardt (BAL state 1), publisher's pictorial blue cloth stamped in gilt and black, peach-coloured endpapers, collector's blue cloth chemise in blue morocco-backed slipcase, ownership inscription in pencil on front free-endpaper, booklabel on front pastedown, corners slightly bumped, spine lightly sunned and slightly rubbed at ends, some intermittent soiling to a few pages
