Condition
SURFACE: in fair condition; irregularities in surface (pigment separation, blistering) and in application of varnish suggest that painting sustained damage at some point (heat, moisture??) UNDER ULTRA VIOLET: scattered spots to address pigment separation (visible in beard and portions of the background), spots to the figure's forehead and shirt as well as at upper left and portions of right edge.
