A pair of muster rolls for the Continental Army, ca. 1776–1777, the first in manuscript (6 1/4 x 7 3/4 in.; 160 x 193 mm), dated 1776, calling for enlistment "until the first day of April next if the Service shall require it," blank leaf docketed in a later hand. Blue cloth folding case, blue morocco spine lettered gilt; spine lightly sunned. The second muster being printed and purposed for Massachusetts, with approximately 2 dozen signatures.
