Together with: an autograph document  signed ("Wm Williams Clerk"), Lebanon, 3 July 1776, to the Committee of Pay Table requesting that Captain Samuel Mather be paid 300 pounds for "the wages, billeting & allowance of his company stationed at New London"; docketed on verso; the page fully reinforced, ink burn affecting three letters of two words. Catalogue Note

Military supplies for the Continental Army. As clerk for the Governor of the Council of Safety, Williams directs the Committee of pay Table to draw on the Treasurer for the sum of 100 pounds to be paid to David Trumbull for procuring "many Articles & military Stores for the use of  the Continental Army." Together with an autograph document  signed ("Wm Williams Clerk"), Lebanon, 3 July 1776, to the Committee of Pay Table requesting that Captain Samuel Mather be paid 300 pounds for "the wages, billeting & allowance of his company stationed at New London."; docketed on verso; the page fully reinforced, ink burn affecting three letters of two words.
