probably Furstenburg, painted in iron red monochrome with a rat catcher outside a farmhouse, beneath a green scale pattern border, the hinged silver cover with ropework AR monogram and inscribed inside SPS FBAD 1769

Purchased as Meissen from H.E. Backer Antiques, May 1945, for £50.
Condition
The gilding on the handle is worn.
