the moulded and curved toprails with patera carved corners and down scrolled arms on reeded rails above reeded, turned tapering front legs ending in brass cappings and castors

With Temple Williams Ltd., Haunch of Venison Yard, London, where acquired by Wilfrid Evill (£185)  29 April 1960 and thence by descent to Honor Frost

Condition

Very high quality and ready to place, although may require minor attention subject to taste. Some discolouration to timber, notably around each rosette at the top of the front legs. Very minor variation in height but an excellent pair. Upholstery good. In good overall condition.
