Description

  • 11cm. high, 39cm. wide, 31cm. deep; 4¼in., 1ft. 3¼in., 1ft. ¼in.
with a hinged, sloping top and pen compartment, inlaid with mother of pearl and with parcel-gilt foliate decoration

Condition

Very decorative and in good overall condition with some minor chips, wear and surface dirt to the decoration. The velvet lining is torn and worn. Lidded compartment lacking escutcheon with losses to this area.
