- Gilt bronze
- each 29cm. high; 10½in high
the reversible, pierced lids with sconces above campana urns on cylindrical stems with milled trellis decoration on square plinth bases, drilled for electricity
Provenance
With Temple Williams Ltd., Haunch of Venison Yard, London, where acquired by Wilfrid Evill (£85) 29 April 1960 and thence by descent to Honor Frost
Condition
Each vase complete (with pierced lid and sconce to each candle nozzle). These attractive pieces have been drilled for electricty. They would make lovely lights if they were re-wired etc. They are tarnished and have signs of wear and rubbing.
