the leaf-carved cartouche back and solid seat on lappet carved baluster front legs together with an upholstered and ebonised mahogany child's chair, formerly part of a high chair, 19th century (2)
Condition
A Victorian carved mahogany and elm child's chair:
Attractively patinated. At some stage the back has broken, where repair has taken place there are visible fractures, screws and glues. Possibly reduced in height.
Upholstered high chair seat:
Upholsterey tired and distressed. Scuffs and much wear to painted elements.
